Maryellen Langley, of Belmont, born Dec. 30, 1940, died Dec. 23, 2018, surrounded by her family after a short illness.
She is survived by her husband Jack, daughter Catherine, son Michael and grandchildren Kimberly, Timothy and Steven Davidson.
A longtime resident of Belmont, she worked and retired as an office manager of a Redwood City Company. In retirement, her love was to do volunteer work for many organizations on the Peninsula. Twenty years at Kaiser Hospital in Redwood City, 15 years with the Family Tree in San Carlos, which supports the Peninsula Family Service. Many years with the Belmont Park Boosters Summer Concert Series and for the last three years with the San Mateo County Ombudsman Services as an advocate for several long-term facilities.
Celebration of her life will be 1 p.m. Jan. 3, at Notre Dame de Namur University Chapel, 1500 Ralston Ave., Belmont.
