Alison was born in SF on Monday February 16, 1948 at Children’s Hospital to Charles Young and Harriet Loveall Young. Her family moved to San Mateo Park in ’50 attended Park School, Borel and Burlingame HS. She graduated from UCSB in 1970 with a music degree. Alison was the musical talent of the family on her Steinway and accompanying BHS music groups along the way. She was proficient in her water skiing at Tahoe and Shasta and snow skiing at Dodge Ridge and Squaw. After moving to Franklin, NC she bore her daughter Joanna Carol loops and continued her musical teaching and accompaniment. She was predeceased by her little sister Susan and is survived by brothers Bob and Charlie. Her family will be celebrating her on September 21 at 1 p.m. at her childhood home.
