Anthony "Tony" Yaquinto of San Bruno died peacefully in Palo Alto on July 1.

Born in San Francisco in 1931, retired staff sergeant USMC, he retired from the San Francisco Naval Shipyard after 35 years. He was the oldest son of Helen and Samuel Yaquinto. Married in 1953 to Michelina "Mickey" Spina. He is also survived by his six children, Lynn Bulnes (Mike) -- El Dorado Hills; Carol Waller (Bob) -- Foster City; Susan Roberts (Jim) -- Foster City; Richard Yaquinto -- San Bruno, Eva Ballestrasse (Todd) -- Millbrae; Sandra Curley (Ron) ---San Francisco. Loving "Papa" to 18 grandchildren. He is also survived by brother, Samuel Yaquinto of Arizona and sister, Louise Thomas of Sacramento and numerous family and friends.
