Officers are not yet sure who was driving, or what caused a vehicle to crash down the embankment along Highway 1 just north of Pescadero State Beach.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating a red SUV found at the bottom of a rocky embankment Thursday morning along Highway 1 just north of Pescadero State Beach in San Mateo County.
The vehicle appears to have rolled down the embankment, sustaining heavy damage, and landed upside down.
Officers said that they weren’t able to find any victims involved in the crash, and no injuries have been reported.
They’re not yet sure who was driving, or what caused the vehicle to crash down the embankment.
