Friday's subtropical rainstorm proved to be a mild one, and the National Weather Service says it's likely to stay that way through the end of the year.
Weatherman Steve Anderson said Friday's storm "is number one out of three'' lined up to hit the Bay Area like a set of waves. Even so, he said, "the moisture and wind flow is coming from the southwest,'' meaning mild temperatures and winds.
