A San Mateo man found sleeping with his car running and headlights on at the intersection of Seventh and Railroad avenues near a local bar was arrested early Thursday morning, according to police.

At about 12:20 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, an officer spotted the man in the car and saw an open beer can in the center console. The driver, identified as Evaristo Solorio-Lozano, 45, appeared to be under the influence. During a search, officers found 16 grams of suspected methamphetamine, more than 10 grams of suspected cocaine, money and evidence of drug sales, according to police.
