Forty to 100 explosions lasting for 30 minutes were heard on the 2100 block of Trousdale Drive in Burlingame before 5:44 a.m. Tuesday, March 9.
Burlingame
Burglary. The rear window of a blue BMW was smashed and a lap top bag taken on the 1300 block of Alvarado Avenue before 7:45 a.m. Friday, March 12.
Burglary. The front passenger-side window of a 2001 BMW was broken on the 2700 block of El Prado Road before 6 a.m. Friday, March 12.
Reckless driving. A vehicle was driving close to another vehicle on the intersection of Carmelita Avenue and El Camino Real before 1:54 p.m. Thursday, March 11.
Disturbance. People were seen picketing and loud whistles were heard on the 1400 block of Howard Avenue before 10:16 a.m. Wednesday, March 10.
Burglary. A business was broken into and several items were taken on the 800 block of Hinckley Road before 12:12 p.m. Tuesday, March 9.
Foster City
Disturbance. A man and woman were seen scavenging in recycling bins at the intersection of Avalon and Monterey avenues before 7:22 p.m. Wednesday, March 17.
Vandalism. The front passenger-side tire of a car was slashed on Comet Drive before 10:56 a.m. Tuesday, March 16.
Grand theft. A black leather case containing 25 pairs of professional haircutting scissors was taken from an open garage on Scorpio Lane before 11:59 a.m. Tuesday, March 16.
Burglary. $4,000 worth of electronics were stolen from a home on Shell Boulevard before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 16.
