The Landing, a Burlingame life sciences campus with over 500,000 square feet of office and lab space, has a new tenant in Generation Lab, an aging sciences company that’s relocating from San Francisco to the Peninsula.
In a Feb. 11 press release, King Street Properties, which developed The Landing, announced the new move. Generation Lab will be occupying a 12,300 square-foot suit of lab and office spaces on the campus, the press release said.
“Generation Lab’s decision to expand at The Landing reflects continued demand for move-in ready, purpose-built space that supports growing life science companies,” Grant Yeatman, Managing Director at JLL, which handles leasing for The Landing, said in the press release. “Spec-suites at The Landing allow well capitalized early stage teams to scale quickly while providing the infrastructure and flexibility life science tenants need.”
Generations Lab offers tests to create full-body aging insights, including 460 biomarkers, per its website.
The Landing is comprised of two buildings, one at 1701 Bayshore and another at 1699 Bayshore. It opened tenant applications last year, offering both move-in ready space as well as 46,500 square feet of customizable build-out opportunity.
Two 60-foot murals, both painted by artist Nicole Mueller, adorn the sides of the building.
