• The Burlingame Planning Commission will revisit plans to remodel 1351 Howard Ave., previously Brothers Deli, for Comerica Bank. The commission previously referred plans to a design review consultant. Plans for converting the deli into a Comerica Bank were approved a year ago. The deli moved to Millbrae.
At the same meeting, the commission will discuss a conditional use permit to turn an office space into an indoor badminton facility at 1611 Adrian Road. Currently QFCO, Inc. uses the property for its food warehouse business. Plans suggest downsizing the food company and creating a secondary space in the building. The space would be used for the Bay Badminton Center, Inc. offering 16 indoor courts, a lounge, a children’s play zone, stretching zone and rest rooms.
The commission meets 7 p.m. Monday, June 11 at City Hall, 501 Primrose Road, Burlingame.
