A crowd of more than 1,000 gathered Thursday in San Mateo to protest the Trump administration’s unprecedented consolidation of power and to honor the late Congressman John Lewis’s famous adage to “create good trouble.”

Protesters, who walked from the Hillsdale Shopping Center to Central Park for a rally, sported a wide variety of clever signs. The march was part of a national day of action, dubbed “Good Trouble Lives On,” to stand up for democracy and rebuke the actions taken by the Trump administration, organizers said.

Former Mayor Claire Mack lobbied and helped to remove a bike lane in an Equity Focus Area. The single mothers and children that need bike lanes the most are punished because this "equity warrior" and her friends Amo Lee, Nicole Fernandez or Danielle Cwirko-Godycki colluded with MAGA and YIMBY to punish children from low-income neighborhoods and take away their equity infrastructure.

And for what? 'Corporate Interest' of course. Claire Mack sells unhealthy cakes from her frontyard and invites car violence into the neighborhood to sell goods high in sugar content. Or in plain words, she thinks she owns the parking spots in front of her house. And those of her neighbors as well.

Shame on these women (and Rob Newsom and Adam Lorraine of course). When they are in charge they are constantly failing the residents. And mostly because of their own personal bias they cannot seem to overcome.

Female politicians like Claire, Nicole, Amo, Danielle, the Papans always think "equity" is achieved when they tricked voters into gaining office. They never try to improve it for others - in this case single mothers with children.

It appears that most of these marchers would actually benefit by the provisions of the Trump tax bill. But, because of indoctrinated TDS, and fueled by our trusty legacy news channels' misinformation, they march anyway, like lemmings. Don't worry though, MAGA will make sure you will have a soft landing.

This is ironic. And a bit amusing. The same day these folks are marching against our (yes, our) great President Trump, Congress is passing a rescission bill clawing back $9 billion in wasted taxpayer money. Are these marchers against saving taxpayer money – the same taxpayer savings they benefit from? How about these 1,000 folks donate, say $9000 each to USAID, NPR, or PBS. They won’t make up the $9 billion shortcoming but it's a start. They can contact other folks marching, even paid activists, to unite in achieving a $9 billion goal. But what are the odds of that happening? Virtually nonexistent, akin to the overall impact of their misguided protests. BTW, isn’t it also amusing these folks say they’re “honoring” John Lewis but didn’t the Civil Rights Act pass with bipartisan support? Is there any bipartisanship at these marches? Likely not. Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to many more big beautiful rescission bills being passed. Maybe in time for the next misguided march…

If the country is going in the "wrong direction," can you please do something positive and give us a plan ( positive leadership, in your opinion) to go in the " right direction?" No constructive ideas here, just criticism.
