Wasn't the MTC in charge of the debacle of replacing the eastern span of the Bay Bridge?

$6.4 billion compared to original estimates of just over $1 billion...over 15 years to build and the most expensive public works project in California history.

Isn't that the same MTC that is partnering with the NGO CASA to build their way out of the Bay Area housing crisis?

What could ever go wrong?
