The gallery at the Coastal Arts League Museum is opening a new exhibit entitled "Visions Revisited." Artist Arabella M. Decker has created this mixed media show by using upon biblical and historical figures. Her work will be displayed until Dec. 6 at the gallery located at 300 Main St. in Half Moon Bay. Mountain View's Center for Performing Arts hosts a variety of local and international performances groups on its stage. For only two weeks, the Peninsula Youth Theater will bring our community "Seussical: The Musical." The show made a splash on Broadway a few years ago. It's no wonder because the show follows classic Seuss characters the Cat in the Hat, Horton and Gertrude Fuzz in a whimsical adventure that draws upon several of the doctor's famous stories. This weekend is quite a treat for art enthusiasts in the Bay Area. Peninsula Open Studios is an annual event that allows artists to create while under the eye of interested onlookers. At 11 a.m., the San Mateo County History Museum will be presenting four films on our wonderful county. "A Beautiful Place to Live: The San Francisco Peninsula in the 1930s" takes viewers on a tour of familiar territory in the early 20th century. The Peninsula Museum of Art is having a reception for its latest exhibit opening on Sunday. "Angels and Demons" will be showing until Jan. 9 at 1219 Ralston Ave. in Belmont. Four musicians from the San Jose Chamber Orchestra will be guests at Notre Dame de Namur University's Ralston Concert series this week.
