Boy Scout Troop 42

Troop 42 was founded in 1958 in San Mateo and meets regularly at Saint Bartholemew’s Catholic Church. The troop participates in many community service projects in the area including working with Second Harvest Food Bank, conservation projects, and with San Mateo Rotary Club. The scouts also collected food for San Mateo Samaritan House. Troop 42 today welcomed its four newest Eagle Scouts, from left,Victor Berdoulay, Kiran Swami, Christopher Lin and Max Shiratori. The foursome completed Eagle Scout projects for the San Mateo County Parks, Hillsborough Little League, the Japanese American Community Center in San Mateo, and the Enchanted Hills Camp for the blind and visually impaired. Troop 42 celebrates our proud tradition in our local community and the lasting contribution by our Scouts.
