Sequoia 3, Burlingame 1
Don’t look now, but the Ravens are closing the regular season hard, getting into the Bay Division championship mix following the win over the Panthers.
With two games left in Bay Division play, Sequoia (5-3-2 PAL Bay, 17 points; 7-7-3 overall) sits one point behind second-place Carlmont and three points behind division-leading Woodside. Those two played to a scoreless draw Tuesday.
Sequoia and Burlingame were scoreless at halftime before the Ravens erupted for three second-half goals. Kayla Halada scored two goals, while Gigi Jarolimek had a goal and assist for Sequoia. Sarah Schembri rounded out the scoring, with Hadley Ryan picking up an assist.
Gaelle Anne-Foy scored for Burlingame (3-6-1, 10 points; 3-10-1).
Menlo-Atherton 2, Aragon 2
Both teams scored a goal in each half to finish in a tie.
Ella Mohr and Cassidy Thomas scored for M-A (3-4-2 PAL Bay, 11 points; 7-5-4 overall), with Sam Ruiz providing assists on both strikes.
Aragon falls to 3-3-3 in Bay play, good for 12 points, and 4-6-4 overall.
Terra Nova 4, Mills 1
The Tigers continue their push for the PAL Ocean Division title with the win over the Vikings, running their unbeaten streak to six games in a row in the process.
With three games left in the regular season, the Tigers hold a three-point lead over second-place South City.
Terra Nova (6-0 PAL Ocean, 18 points; 10-4-1 overall) scored two goals in each half. Dani Guterres scored twice and assisted on a third goal. Claire Moore added an assist and converted a penalty kick, with Morgan Matthews rounding out the scoring for the Tigers. Nina Alexiev added an assist.
Mills falls to 3-3 in Ocean play, worth nine points.
San Mateo 4, El Camino 0
The Bearcats stayed in the hunt for the Ocean Division title after shutting out the Colts.
With three games left in the regular season, San Mateo (4-1-1 PAL Ocean, 13 points; 7-1-3 overall) finds itself six points behind division-leading Terra Nova.
Kyla Lichaa had a big game for the Bearcats, scoring once and assisted on two other goals. Lulu Bertolini scored twice for San Mateo, with Vidette Vestner rounding out the scoring.
El Camino falls to 2-4 in Ocean play and 4-10 overall.
Capuchino 2, Half Moon Bay 1
The Mustangs evened their Ocean Division record, scoring goals in each half to top the Cougars.
Capuchino (3-3 PAL Ocean, 3-12-1 overall) got goals from Leighana Wilmes and Emma Vega.
Half Moon Bay falls to 2-3-1 in Ocean play and 3-7-2 overall.

The Gators WBAL Foothill Division championship hopes were dented with the draw with the Tigers.
Lauryn Masetti continues her assault on opposing goals as she scored both goals for SHP (4-2-4 WBAL Foothill, 16 points; 7-4-4 overall), giving her 21 on the season through 15 games. Aris Yu and Layla Pine each picked up an assist.
With one game remaining in WBAL play, SHP sits in a tie for second place with rival Menlo School. Both are three points behind division-leading King’s Academy.
NDB falls to 2-6-1 in WBAL play and 5-9-2 overall.
Mercy 2, Priory 1
The Bears scored once in each half to beat the Panthers in a WBAL Skyline Division match.
Isela Santana scored for Mercy (3-1-1 WBAL Skyline, 10 points; 5-5-2 overall), with Gionvanna Gasanyan added an assist.
In other action ...
South City (5-1 PAL Ocean, 15 points) stayed within striking distance of first-place Terra Nova following a 6-0 win over Jefferson. The Warriors remain three points behind the Tigers with three games left in the season.
Oceana (4-2 PAL Ocean, 7-3 overall) routed Westmoor (0-5, 0-7), 7-0.
Boys’ wrestling
Capuchino 43, Half Moon Bay 35
The Mustangs officially wrapped up the Bay Division dual meet title after slipping past the Cougars.
Capuchino finished a perfect 7-0 in PAL matches this season.
In other action...
Carlmont (6-1 PAL Bay) wrapped up second place in the Bay Division with a 42-33 win over Hillsdale (3-4).
San Mateo (3-4 PAL Bay) got past rival Aragon (1-6), 42-33.
Menlo-Atherton cruised past Westmoor in an Ocean Division match, 57-27.
Girls’ wrestling
San Mateo 54, Aragon 8
The Bearcats completed a dominant run to the Ocean Division title after drilling the Dons.
The win gives San Mateo a perfect 7-0 mark in PAL Bay Division meets.
Elise Johnson (110), Sarah Cantillo Medina (115), Zoe Heman (135) and Yesenia Peraza Vazquez (145) all won by pin for the Bearcats.
In other action ...
Half Moon Bay (3-4) beat Capuchino (1-7), 36-18.
Carlmont (5-2) topped Hillsdale (2-5), 36-18.
