Burlingame 1, Menlo-Atherton 0
The Panthers stayed hot on the heels of first-place Hillsdale after getting a second-half goal to hand the Bears their second straight loss.
Burlingame (7-2-2 PAL Bay, 23 points; 11-2-2 overaall) is one point behind Hillsdale. The two meet at 4:30 p.m. Friday in Burlingame.
Derek Diercks gave the Panthers the win, converting an assist from Dylan Rossen.
M-A falls to 3-2-5 in Bay play, good for 14 points, and 5-6-5 overall.
South City 1, Sequoia 0
After going 13 games without a win, the Warriors scored a second-half goal to pick up their first victory of the season.
South City is now 1-9-1 in Bay play and 1-12-1 overall. Sequoia falls to 3-7-1 in division play and 5-8-2 overall.
Carlmont 2, Aragon 1
The Scots scored a pair of first-half goals and then held off the Dons in the second half.
Xavier Grussing and Milad Ebadi each scored an unassisted goal for Carlmont (4-4-2 PAL Bay, 14 points; 5-6-3 overall).
Gabriel Wilcox scored off an assist from Claudio Dominguez for Aragon (3-7-1, 10 points; 4-10-2).
El Camino 5, Terra Nova 0
The Colts just keep churning out lopsided wins as they moved one game closer to capturing the Ocean Division title.
El Camino (12-0-1 PAL Ocean, 37 points; 15-0-1 overall) took complete control of the game with four, first-half goals. Ayden Fernandez had a big game for the Colts, scoring the opening goal and assisting on two others. Freshman Manny Tafolla added a goal and an assist. Andrew Tafolla, Danny Figueroa Jr. and Santino Frances rounded out the scoring for El Camino.
Terra Nova falls to 3-8-3 in Ocean play and overall.
Half Moon Bay 3, Mills 2
Despite chasing an undefeated El Camino squad, the Cougars are right in the mix, three points behind the Colts after they held off the Vikings.

HMB (11-2-1 PAL Ocean, 34 points; 11-4-1 overall) sits in second place in the Ocean Division, but the Cougars have lost twice to the Colts and will need to win their final three games and then get some help.
The Cougars took a 2-1 lead at halftime with goals from Kaleb Eisen, off an assist from Max Magana, and Cristiano Bautista, off an assist from Javier Garduno.
Mills (6-6-1, 6-7-1) countered with a Kory Wong strike in the first half, with Joshua Heui earning the assist.
HMB got what turned out to be the game-winning goal from Omer Valencia, to offset a Mills goal from Ryan Chavez, who was assisted by Leran Mao.
San Mateo 3, Jefferson 0
Jeongwoo Park had a goal and an assist to help lead the Bearcats to shutout win over the Grizzlies.
Efrain Bueno opened the scoring for San Mateo (7-4-3 PAL Ocean, 24 points; 8-7-3 overall) and Rohan George closed the scoring with an unassisted goal in the second half.
Jefferson falls to 2-7-4 in Ocean play and 2-4-9 overall.
Westmoor 2, Oceana 1
The Rams scored once in each half to beat the Sharks.
Cesar Rivera had an goal and assist for Westmoor (5-7-1 PAL Ocean, 16 points), with Sergio Espinal rounding out the scoring and Enzo Vigil earning an assist on Rivera’s goal.
Oceana (1-11-2, 5 points; 1-11-2) got a goal from Iker Serrano, off an assist from Quinn Allen.
Serra 1, Bellarmine 0
The Padres kept their WCAL regular-season title hopes alive with a second-half goal to beat the Bells.
Serra (5-2-3 WCAL, 18 points; 9-3-4 overall) currently sits in fourth place in the WCAL, but are only three points behind first-place Mitty as the top four teams are separated by just those three points. Second-place St. Ignatius is one point behind Mitty, while third-place St. Francis is two points back and one point ahead of the Padres.
Serra hosts fifth-place Valley Christian at 11 a.m. Saturday.
In other action ...
Nueva School (5-2 PSAL, 6-8 overall) shut out KIPP Esperanza-Palo Alto (2-4-2, 3-8-3), 4-0.
Menlo School (7-1-1 WBAL, 22 points; 9-3-3 overall) kept its hopes alive for a third straight WBAL title after rolling past Eastside College Prep (1-7, 3-10), 5-1. The Knights will host league-leading Crystal (8-0-1, 25 points; 12-0-2) at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Atherton.
