Sequoia 49, Washington 9
The Ravens (2-1) put up 35 points in the first half, and went on to score in every quarter, to get back in the win column against Washington-SF (2-1) at Terremere Field.
Sequoia’s defense was on point, recording four quarterback sacks while senior Randy Nunez and junior Kingsley Odai each nabbed interceptions.
Quarterbacks Ricky Delgado and Mays Pagnotta split time for the Ravens. Pagnotta, a senior, was 5-of-8 passing for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Delgado, a junior, went 7 for 8 with 74 yards and one TD. Senior receiver Caden Bernal totaled four catches for 74 yards and two touchdowns, while junior Luke Ostrander also had a touchdown haul.
Sequoia totaled just 98 rushing yards as a team, but punched it in for four scores. Senior running back Nolan Fausto totaled five carries for 25 yards and two touchdowns, while junior Carlos Curup and senior Mike Alvarado each tabbed rushing TDs.
The Ravens now travel to South City, Friday, for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
Burlingame 50, Arroyo 22
Senior running back Hayden Haba rushed for four touchdowns, and the Panthers (2-1) rallied for their best single-game point total since 2018 in a home win over Arroyo-San Lorenzo (1-1).
Will Armstrong added a touchdown catch Burlingame.

Redwood Christian 25, Mills 0
The Vikings (0-2) dropped their season straight to open the year, falling at home to unbeaten Redwood Christian (3-0).
The Eagles were paced by senior running back Landon Devoe-Krowicki, who carried 13 times for 108 yards and two touchdowns. Sophomore quarterback Elijah Pineda threw for two TDs.
This week, Mills travels to Harbor-Santa Cruz for a 5:30 p.m. start.
Leigh 41, South City 14
Leigh-San Jose senior Blake Zanger rushed 24 times for 172 yards and four touchdowns, as the Longhorns (2-1) powered to the home win against South City (0-3).
The Warriors return home Friday to host Sequoia in a rematch of the 2024 Central Coast Section Division V semifinals, a game the Ravens won 21-6. Kickoff at Clifford Field is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Dt. Diablo 34, Hillsdale 8
The Fighting Knights (1-2) were shut out for the first three quarters at Mt. Diablo-Concord (3-0) rolled at home to its third straight win. Red Devils quarterback Michael Vasquez threw for 158 yards and three touchdowns.
