GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Manny Ramirez used both his bat and his glove Thursday to help the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 7-3 victory over the Chicago Cubs. Ramirez got things going early with a two-run home run in the first inning off Ryan Dempster, his first homer of the spring. Playing defense for the first time this spring, Ramirez then took an extra-base hit away from Tyler Colvin in the fourth inning with a running catch at the base of the left field wall. Dodgers starter Chad Billingsley gave up one run on five hits in 4 2-3 innings, and Reed Johnson connected on his first spring home run in the seventh inning against his former team. Dempster pitched four innings for the Cubs, giving up two runs on four hits with three strikeouts.
