In Jon Mays’ July 26 column “Pelosi in charge,” he states “the phrase ‘DEI hire’ should be stopped immediately.” Republicans, if successful in November, will replace that with “The policy ‘DEI hire’ will be stopped immediately.”

DEI seemed OK when Biden announced that he would only pick a woman of color for VP. I did not hear a peep from the progressives.

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Hickey. Fortunately, many companies and universities are doing away with their DEI departments as they've determined that DEI now represents Division, Exclusion, and Indoctrination.
