I’d like to thank letter writer Neil Wild for sharing his Fox News scripted summary of the accomplishments of the Trump administration and the horrors of Democrat Party governance (letter to the editor, “Give Trump a chance,” in the May 10-11 edition).
As I prefer fact to fiction, it is always interesting to see how the other side is deceptively “instructed” to think. From the exaggerated and debunked DOGE claims of saving money by cutting waste and fraud that actually amounts to “pocket change,” to tariffs that countries pay, not consumers, and an elective U.S. Constitution, Trump has proven to be quite a salesman, at least to his blind followers. Fact is, this “nonpolitician, just businessman,” is gearing up to spend our country into oblivion.
And, Mr. Wild, as I share your disgust with bipartisan political corruption, Mr. Trump is openly accepting gratuities, bribes by another name, as evidenced by real estate deals, “pay to play” access to the president, and even a gifted flying palace, no doubt with an onboard “Trump Crypto” dispenser. How’s that for “crooked as hell?”
So, as your letter was an appeal to give him six months before passing judgment, something he has avoided his entire life, I’m sorry to have to tell you REQUEST DENIED! We already know who he is. He is a threat to everything America stands for. You see, when one holds their hand over a flame, most people, not just Democrats, have the sense not to wait six months but instead choose to remove it before they receive third-degree burns.

Yarn, snore... Thanks for your letter, Cory, but even if all your assertions about Trump were true (and we know they’re not), our great President Trump will always be head and shoulders greater than treasonous Biden/autopen and his America Last policies. BTW, your egg prices are lower now. You’re welcome. Have a Trump-tastic day! And if you need burn cream, I hear that with no inflation or adverse effects from tariffs, tubes haven’t become any more expensive. Again, you’re welcome.
Gee, Yee, - I think you need a more enlightening news outlet than the Fox Lie channel. You even manage to mix Biden’s excellent work with lying Trump’s childish play with dolls! And don’t fire back and expose your lack of understanding of both the EC and 2nd Amendment, both of which I have tried to explain to you, but obviously in vain.
