Editor,

The Democrats could not even stand for a 13-year-old boy who is battling brain cancer. Pathetic!

I would like to see how the DJ regular Trump haters defend this.

During his first term, Trump tried to cut funding for cancer research by nearly $1 billion. Thankfully he failed.

This time around, Trump used this poor kid as a politcal prop while he cut billions of NIH dollars that again funded life-saving research for cancer and other diseases, and this time he succeeded. That's pathetic!

Interesting assertion, nugget. Apparently you’ve missed recent polls showing President Trump receiving high marks from both a CBS (76% approval) poll and a CNN (69%) poll for his speech. If anything, Dems were using their sitting /paddles/shirts for political theatre. They could care less about America. Dems sitting and acting like children younger than the 13-year-old boy who is battling brain cancer speaks more about Dems and their hatred of Trump overcoming their love for America. That’s pathetic! BTW, in addition to penning LTEs, welcome to the DJ discussion.

Even more amusing, Mr. Abramson, are the Dems who dressed in pink to virtue signal supporting women. These same Dems voted to allow biological males to continue competing against biological females. So much for Dems supporting women. BTW, I’m surprised Democrats didn’t start singing – or maybe Al Green’s ouster kept them in line. It would have been enjoyable to see all Dems ejected and their seats taken by folks who love America. Maybe next year.

Yeah Scott, I am betting Trump could care less for the 13 year old. He was using it as one more style point in his speech. Trump has all the power he needs to do good things in the world and try to unite the country. All he did in his address to Congress was throw red meat to his followers and deride his opposition. He is president to everyone yet he does nothing but heap praise on himself. I am willing to see what happens after the benchmark 100 days, but so far he is half way there and prices are going up, the market going down, our allies are being treated as enemies while our enemies are being treated as friends internationally, and government is being weakened in every direction. Let us see how he fares by the usual 100 day benchmark. As he only thrives in chaos, it is not likely to be better for the country..

Rel, it’s difficult to imagine you missed a recent poll which show our (yes, our) great President Trump received 74% approval for his speech being presidential. As for unifying, Trump earned a 62% approval rating. Not only that, Trump received a 68% approval rating from speech watchers as being hopeful and 54% were proud of Trump’s speech. Your conclusions are based on a minority opinion and not facts.

Words from Pres. Trump this morning (3-9-25)......"BREAKING: President Trump just spelled doom for the Democrat Party after they disrupted his address to Congress last week.

"I think they're gonna end up being a minor party... People don't wanna hear about these stupid ideas they have." Democrats are scared. Long live MAGA and the dawn of a new era for America.
