Editor,

I see where the owner of San Mateo restaurant Wursthall is polishing his hipper than thou credentials by refusing service to folks in their MAGA hats. To be fair, he undoubtedly supports the baker in Colorado that refused to make a cake for the gay couple since it’s the reverse rights side of the same coin. I lied, there is no one more  hypocritical than political zealots and their minute of fame on the soapbox. Perhaps we need pro-life and pro-choice food venues in downtown San Mateo.

Simple manners. All caps, hats, etcetera are to be removed when inside a building. Problem solved. Take it outside.

Yeah, I kinda had a similar reaction. Despite my complete and utter disdain for the guy in the OO, I don't think proclamations like that of Mr. Lopez-Alt accomplish much, other than to add fuel to the zealots' fire.
(btw, absolutely one of the great songs. As Reservoir Dogs, in which the song played an unforgettable role, is one of the great movies.)
