Editor,
Wait ... he meant to say: “My administration will do whatever the states and local officials need to keep our children healthy as they resume school in whatever format is deemed to be safe.” It’s about the kids, not him ... right? Right.

Yes Jorg - we were already color blind until the anarchistic BLM reminded us that we are suddenly racists. Who knew? And for the record, one of my brothers is a Catholic priest and I don't appreciate your insults and generalization. There are bad apples in every community as we have seen but that does not imply that most priests, policemen, ministers, and scout leaders cannot be good role models. But, coming from a Trump hating and anti-religious person, your blather should not surprise any one of us.
Funny how you complain that Jorg is insulting and generalizing, yet you do the very same thing toward people who are anti-Trump. Your hypocrisy is showing.
Sure, Dirk, your brother may be OK, but he belongs to a group that includes an extraordinarily high percentage of not only bad apples, but dirty, rotten ones. How much lower can you fall than abusing innocent little children sexually, children left in the grasp of Catholic clergy by incredibly naïve parents who should have known better, if they weren’t so superstitious. This is not only an American problem. You find the same all over the world, except in the virtually Catholic free Nordic countries.
Tommy Tee took the words out of my mouth. Hypocrisy is the backbone of Trump and his supporters, (they don't have a real spine).
Spread hatred and racism and then blame it on anyone that is not in lock step with comrade Donald.
You don't like it, keep your kid at home. So glad I send my kid to a Catholic school, none of this political nonsense do deal with. Looking forward to my child going back to school this fall. Nothing the Teachers Unions of America can do about that. Good luck if you have a child in our public school system, you are going to need it.
Great attitude, Mr. Elite. You're just like Trump. And that's not a compliment.
Maybe to you but to me that is the best thing anyone has said to me all day. Thank you, you are not as bad as you appear.
Not in my wildest fantasy would I send my kids to a Catholic school and risk having them religiously indoctrinated! They both went through public schools and continued through universities with academic careers second to none, one at USC, one at UCSD, then off to very successful professional careers. So, thank you, San Mateo public schools, for giving my kids such a solid academic foundation!
Jorg - our sons graduated from UCLA and UCSD and are, indeed, very successful in their professional lives. But, the public school system has changed dramatically over the past 10 years. All of the super liberals who were already being indoctrinated then are now running the show. This is not your grandfather's public school system anymore. Why would there be such a run on charter and private schools? I would suggest that religious indoctrination outshines the garbage that is now prevalent in public schools. I know, I mentor at the local High School. The kids now accept BLM hook line and sinker without any debate. Scary!
Good Jorg, then don't send your child to a Catholic School. In America we have a choice, just like it should be.
Ask the teachers how they feel about going back to school. They're scared to death.
So, Dirk, - you criticize the upcoming generation for going color blind accepting BLM, while you at the same time, - at least by implication, promote Catholic priests as good role models for the young? My goodness!
