Editor,

Ross Foti once again has something to complain about ("No tax dollars for abortions" in the July 4 edition). This time he whines about tax dollars from the Sequoia District being used to subsidize Planned Parenthood because he is pro-life. So I ask this: If you are pro-life where is your objections of our tax dollars going to fund the continuing mess in Iraq after all it is our tax dollars being used to fund the war that is leading to the mass slaughter of innocent Iraqi men, women and children? Is the reason you have not spoken up because you are a conservative that supports Bush in this matter? If that is the case how can you claim to be pro-life if you think the lives of those innocent people who were killed in Iraq is merely a fact of war. I also think that if Mr. Foti wants the Sequoia District to send questionnaires to every home in that district stating what it is funding and also allowing people to direct their tax dollars elsewhere that the U.S. government should do the same for every home in America. If he disagrees with that well he is the biggest hypocrite known to man.
