Editor,

While meandering at a ranch property located in Moss Beach, inquisitive for trails I might travel with my dog, I inadvertently somehow dropped my wallet. Obviously there was no intention — I blame gravity, not myself. Nonetheless, I returned home, settled down and watched some meaningless TV unaware that my wallet had departed. Once again, after viewing many manipulative commercials, I left my premises for another journey. As I was departing, at the foot of the entrance to my home was my wallet. Robotically, I patted sharply where it usually resides — it had escaped and now lay on the door entrance mat. In it was a note; “You dropped this at the Ranch. ... Have a great day!” She who still remains anonymous to me, returned everything in my personal container, all cards, license and paper currency remained untouched. I only know it was a younger female after returning to thank the individual who was not present and was informed such by another ranch hand.
