Domestic violence and intimate partner abuse is often insidious, and sometimes the need for help arises suddenly and urgently, catching victims and their loved ones off guard. So, I want to imagine, what if ...

What if your adult daughter is in a relationship with a partner who is stalking, threatening and controlling her?

Thanks for your letter, Ms. Ferguson. It’s patently obvious that CORA is a much more valuable service than the train-to-nowhere or giving $50 billion to EDD fraudsters (of which we don’t know how much money, if any, was ever recovered). Perhaps you can tie in your plea with defunding waste in the train-to-nowhere and numerous other useless projects and departments (I’m sure readers at the DJ can provide more examples if you issue a challenge) and then moving those funds towards CORA and other causes which help people. I think most of us would definitely support that approach.
