Recently, Gov. Gavin Newsom donned blue jeans and a T-shirt to participate in a well-choreographed cleanup of a squalid encampment in Los Angeles, declaring that homelessness is the “biggest scar on the reputation of California.”

That it is, and it’s an image that former President Donald Trump is weaponizing in his presidential duel with a Californian, Vice President Kamala Harris.

Newsom certainly solved the homeless problem in SF when he was mayor. Oh, wait.....

No foolin'... Gavin has been on the front lines of fighting homelessness for 26 years, and the problem only continued to worsen during that time. Twenty billion dollars in the wind. Now, he says there will be no more excuses and that he wants to see results. Wow.

Not So Common

Ray, you are pretty levelheaded, but anyone with an ounce of common sense should know that Gavin Newsom and the Democratic Party poured gas on the homeless flame. He offered them monthly stipends, free needles, etc. and then he wants to blame others. This is the Democrats game plan, throw money and the more money at a problem, and then ask for more money and blame conservatives. . See homelessness and California public education as prime examples

Not So Common

The government has proven they just need more money to solve the state's problem. i.e. schools, housing, homelessness, minimum wages etc... The CA government is not the answer to any problems, they are the problem.

Not So Common

Jorg & Rel…. Everyone is waiting for you to blame Trump and the conservatives for California’s homelessness problem and debt
