Thanks for the great advice, Ms. Tsai, and especially the detailed information on how folks can freeze their credit and the option to add two-factor authentication to access online accounts. I’d add that you can also set alerts (such as email and/or text) for financial accounts to notify you should transactions occur. You can tailor the transactions and limits you’re interested in, such as money transferred in or out, transactions which occur, checks clearing, or credit card amounts charged, bills available, due, paid, etc.

Everyone be safe out there and take Ms. Tsai’s advice to heart. If you’re able, convince your parents or other folks to do the same and help them as needed.
