Nancy Antonina D’Amico, born June 12, 1926, died peacefully Oct. 31, 2018.
She was preceded in death by parents Giuseppe (Rose) Fiore, husband Eugene, son Eugene Jr. and son-in-law Leo Lynch. Born in San Francisco and raised in North Beach, Nancy attended Girls’ High School.
Nancy is survived by daughter Marianne (Ken), son Steven (Yolonda), brother-in-law Ernest D’Amico, grandsons Michael (Sheila), Matthew, Scott (Colleen), great-grandchildren Brandon, Logan, Keira, Hannah and many relatives.
Amongst Nancy’s enthusiastically shared talents were her incredible cooking/baking skills. Later, she became a wonderful painter whose creative talent has been enjoyed by all. A travel aficionado, she visited Italy twice and sailed worldwide. Nancy loved life and her family and friends; not a day went by that she did not let them know it. Her loving presence will be missed by everyone who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to American Legion Post 82. Online expressions of sympathy may be posted at the Sneider, Sullivan & O’Connell’s Funeral Home website. Visitation will be Sneider, Sullivan & O’Connell’s (San Mateo) Thursday, Nov. 8, (6 p.m.), rosary (7 p.m.). Funeral services: St. Matthew’s Catholic Church Friday, Nov. 9, (10:30 a.m.).
