Marilyn was born Dec. 6, 1936, in Wisconsin, raised in Eleva, Wisconsin.
Her activities and hobbies included teaching, singing, tutoring, reading, volunteering and was involved in numerous charities, supporting especially justice issues.
“She made a tremendous difference through her teaching and friendships with colleagues, family and countless friends. Her faith was unwavering and she was an example of strength and kindness.”
Survivors include her spouse Paul, of San Carlos, California, a niece, Kimberly Phair and family of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place at Hope Lutheran Church, 600 W. 42nd Ave., San Mateo, 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 26. All are welcome to attend.
