Emma Firpo, Late of South San Francisco and San Mateo County resident for 74 years, entered into rest in South San Francisco on November 8, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Emilio Firpo for 70 years. Devoted daughter of Giuseppi Brunamonti of Perugia, and Filomena Mazzoni of Le Marche, Italy. Loving mother of Emile Firpo (Christine), and Elaine Steffens (John). Cherished grandmother of Brian Steffens and Scott Steffens (Ashley), and great grandmother of Matthew. A native of Eynon Pennsylvania, age 101 years.
Before starting her family Emma worked as a secretary in San Francisco for an insurance company. Emma was an avid baker and cook. Italian food was her specialty. Her family will always remember her ravioli, pastas, homemade bread, and pies. She was a member of the Over Forty Club where she and her husband Emilio enjoyed going on many trips and outings. She was also a parishioner of Saint Veronica continuing to show her support in her older years through her many donations.
Visitation on Sunday November 17 at 5:00 p.m. with Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS. Funeral Mass on Monday November 18 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Veronica Catholic Church followed by burial at Italian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family appreciates donations to Saint Veronica Catholic Church.
