Two are in custody after robbing and beating a man waiting for a taxi on the 1800 block of Broadway in Redwood City yesterday afternoon, according to police.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., the victim was approached by four men, who punched and kicked him while taking his cell phone and shoes. He received a laceration to the head, according to police.
One suspect, a 17-year-old from East Palo Alto, was arrested shortly after the incident and was found to have the man's cell phone. The other three suspects were identified and detectives located and arrested Damar Desean Walker, 18, of Redwood City, according to police.
