The second annual San Mateo County Immigrant Integration Summit will focus on youth to inspire, encourage and educate leaders to create a supportive and safe path for them, according to San Mateo County Supervisor Warren Slocum, who is convening it Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the historic Fox Theatre in Redwood City.

“At a time of uncertainty, I hope to convene this summit to discuss ways in which we can support our most vulnerable population, immigrant youth.” Slocum said in a prepared statement.

Total subversion, Warren Slocum! The reason for this conference, as you say, is to "create a...safe path for them." Who? The "most vulnerable population." What's the problem, Slocum? Cat got your tongue? Say the truth and dispense with the slimy liberal propaganda! You are convening this conference to support non-citizens, including illegal aliens!
Instead of working within the law to protect citizens (also known as Americans!) you're intent on doing everything you can to subvert the system, destroy the very concept of U.S. citizenship but don't have the guts to say so. The United States already has laws, has institutions to handle people who desire citizenship, including daca young people. You should be supporting law and order instead of promoting the welfare of law evaders from Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Guatamala, Mexico and any other country.
Slocum - you are actively, and deceptively, working towards making our community less safe. This state may be declared a "sanctuary" by democrats but what you're doing is on you! Unforgivable!

Maybe Warren could fund some of the costs......"Slocum...... after retiring in January 2011 following 24 years and six terms as chief elections officer-assessor-clerk recorder, to tackle pressing issues.
Slocum, who said he makes about $100,000 a year in retirement pay after taxes, intends to be paid while still drawing his pension.
“I feel that’s not an issue. I worked 30 years, I earned that pension,” Slocum said. “I would take the salary to do the work.”............Mercury News 2012
