Six men were arrested Thursday at the Residence Inn in San Carlos for a variety of crimes involving a large amount of methamphetamine, fraudulent checks, more than 200 fraudulent credit cards, a credit card skimming device and items associated with manufacturing fraudulent credit cards, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 10:15 a.m., Vehicle Theft Task Force agents, Crime Suppression Unit detectives and San Carlos patrol deputies contacted two people on probation, Samuel Colon, 31, of Hayward; and Ciara Renois, 26, of San Ramon, in the parking lot of the Residence Inn. While speaking with them, deputies learned additional people on probation, Erica Gutierrez-Salaiza, 27, of Tracy; Mario Rodriguez, 39, of Hayward; Vadim Kazakevich, 45, of San Francisco; and Leslie Lopez, 39, of Daly City, were in two associated hotel rooms, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
