After years of preliminary talks, San Mateo-Foster City Elementary School District officials initiated substantive discussions regarding the vision for starting a new neighborhood school in San Mateo’s North Central neighborhood.

The district Board of Trustees heard a report from Pan Ltd., a consulting firm hired to survey members of the North Central community regarding potential programs and approaches they feel are necessary for the new school to succeed.

Finally North Central gets a school long time in the making as in forever ! It is an emergency time to put giyted on the back burner and North Central on the front kids bussed almost as much as Foster city referred to as :thiose kids" being blamed for the low test scores in the school that receives the kids being bussed. overheard parents planning to send them to FC so their test scores are lower like Baywood. three cheers North Central deserves this College Park renamed as North Central hopefully. It has a good ring to it when you say North Central...

There was a time F.C. was in and bussed to 5 elementary schools in the district . I wonder how many North Central has been in and bussed to?

Fantastic !

Have been waiting for the school district to come through with their promise back around 2015-2017 and IIRC, there was approx $15 million set aside for this

Hope the district will plan for growth, as North Central is looking to be the neighborhood with the most growth for the next few decades

THANK YOU !

Be bold make the school Pre-K -8th grade. There is no middle school between the rail road tracks and 101.
