A man was hospitalized after being shot multiple times over the weekend in San Bruno, police said.
Officers responded around 2:40 p.m. Saturday to reports of a shooting on the 1300 block of Shelter Creek Lane, according to the San Bruno Police Department. The victim, who had sustained several gunshot wounds, managed to drive away from the scene before contacting police.
Emergency personnel quickly found him and arranged transport to a nearby hospital. He was later listed in stable condition.
Detectives said the preliminary investigation suggests the shooting was an isolated, targeted case and that there was no threat to the community.
