A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after he allegedly fled from a crash that damaged two parked cars in South San Francisco early Monday morning, police said.
Joshua Fale, a South San Francisco resident, was arrested after officers responded at 2:41 a.m. Monday to a report of a hit-and-run crash on the 700 block of Del Monte Avenue.
They arrived to find two parked vehicles with extensive damage and determined the vehicle that hit the two cars had left the scene. Officers soon located the suspect vehicle nearby on the 800 block of Alta Loma Drive, police said.
Officers determined Fale was the driver responsible and arrested him on suspicion of DUI.
