A police search in Belmont's Homeview neighborhood early Thursday morning led to an arrest of burglary suspect and a warning for residents to stay indoors as officers continued to look for a second suspect who fled on foot, authorities said.
According to the Belmont Police Department, its officers were assisting Daly City police in tracking down two suspects wanted in connection with a burglary and a police pursuit in Daly City.
Police said one suspect was taken into custody, but the second — described as a man in his 20s wearing blue pants and a sweatshirt — remained at large as of 5:49 a.m.
Residents in the Homeview area were asked to remain inside their homes and call 911 if they spot anyone matching the suspect's description.
