San Mateo County Superior Court celebrates Juror Appreciation Week May 13-17. The San Mateo County Superior Court will celebrate Juror Appreciation Week, May 13-17, to recognize the service and participation of jurors in San Mateo County. Recognition of jurors during the second week of May was established by a special resolution passed by the California Legislature in 1998 to acknowledge the important contributions of citizens who devote their time and put into practice the fundamental American ideal of trial by jury.

To celebrate Juror Appreciation Week this year, jurors asked to report will be offered themed word search and crossword puzzles provided by the Judicial Council of California. The court’s jury offices will also be adorned with festive banners and decorations to mark the occasion. Sworn jury panels will be offered special snack baskets assembled by the court’s Juror Services team.
