June is the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals' Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month. The Homeless Cat Network is working with the ASPCA to encourage families to adopt a shelter cat this month.
The theme of this year's ASPCA Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month is Be the Love of Nine Lives. Adopt a Shelter Cat.
Peninsula residents are invited to visit Homeless Cat Network's many adoption venues, where cats and kittens of all sizes, ages and breeds are available to meet potential new families.
In a statement, ASPCA President Ed Sayres praised San-Mateo-County based Homeless Cat Network's efforts.
