Through Thursday evening, a beach hazards statement is in effect for San Francisco, Coastal North Bay including Point Reyes National Seashore, San Francisco Peninsula Coast, and Southern Monterey Bay and Big Sur Coast Counties.
Until Thursday night, heat advisories are also raised over the Sonoma and Marin coastal ranges, North Bay Interior Valleys, North Bay Interior Mountains, San Francisco, San Francisco Peninsula Coast, San Francisco Bay Shoreline, East Bay Interior Valleys, Santa Clara Valley including San Jose, Santa Cruz Mountains, East Bay Hills, Eastern Santa Clara Hills, Northern Monterey Bay, Northern Monterey Bay, Northern and Southern Salinas valleys, and Interior Monterey County including Pinnacles National Park.
According to the NWS, cooler air moves in for the latter half of the week, but above normal temps will continue through the weekend.
