SAN FRANCISCO — Voters on Thursday were a big step closer to getting an opportunity to decide whether to oust a California judge who was severely criticized for his handling of a sexual assault case involving a Stanford University swimmer.

What huge accomplishment for the Recall Hon. Judge Aaron Persky people. He should have recused himself from hearing the Brock Turner case in the first place.

This is no more than a flawed effort promoting vigilante justice and it needs to be rejected. It was pretty obvious that Dauber manipulated the Turner/Jane Doe case which likely contributed to the Judge's decision. Dauber got her conviction but that was not enough - she is out for blood - she would prefer to crucify the convicted, his family and the Judge. This is all after all of the other harm Dauber and her husband have rained down on the Palo Alto/Stanford communities - teachers, students, and school administrators have all been harmed by the Dauber crusades. I suspect they were responsible for the suicide death of one of their own children. How many more people do they want sacrificed?

Thanks for stating this. Most typical Kalifornians are grossly uninformed on most issues.

John Morris

You're certainly a great example of that, Dan.

Witch hunt. Learn the facts first, don't someone rant about one point and ignore the others.
