The Super Bowl is over and no one had a wardrobe malfunction. Whew! Speaking of clothes, can you believe all the pet options? You thought it was difficult buying clothes for yourself, your significant other, or teenager! There are too many options, especially for a guy like me who considers the Brawny Paper Towel man dapper. A pet catalog is now hawking pet pajamas with a matching robe. Now, how would I ever coordinate with Cooper's slippers and ascot? Plus, robes make him look fat. Seriously, with all the specialty pet items available, you may be wondering if you are really a good dog owner, even though you haven't spent $10 on doggie cigars, $25 on Doggles (goggles for dogs who stick their heads out the car window), or $300 on a cedar-filled, raised bed with a welcome mat! All your dog really wants is you! Your time and attention. A nice blanky and foam pad wouldn't hurt. And, you're in luck. Our Pick of the Litter Thrift Store, at 1127 Chula Vista Ave. in Burlingame, is offering all its gently used merchandise — including pet supplies — at 50 percent off during this Thursday's second anniversary sale.

You might see Scott and his companion, Cooper around town. In addition to working for and representing PHS/SPCA, they also volunteer at the Magnolia Center in Burlingame.
