SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Buster Posey hit a run-scoring double with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the San Francisco Giants to a 7-6 victory over a Cleveland Indians split-squad on Friday. Indians left-hander Tony Sipp walked Matt Downs, who advanced to second base on a passed ball before Posey's go-ahead hit. Closer Brian Wilson held on in the ninth to record his first save of the spring. Aubrey Huff hit a two-run double off right-hander Justin Masterson in the first inning to score Edgar Renteria and Pablo Sandoval. Sandoval scored all the way from first base but was spiked in the right shin as he slid across the plate. He left the game shortly thereafter, received five stitches and is listed as day-to-day. Neither starting pitcher was at the top of his game. Masterson, the likely No. 3 man in the rotation behind Jake Westbrook and Fausto Carmona, gave up six runs on nine hits in 3 1-3 innings. Giants left-hander Jonathan Sanchez didn't fare much better, giving up three runs on four hits in four innings. Cleveland shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera returned to the lineup after sitting out a week with a strained left groin. He grounded out to lead off the game and walked and scored in the Indians' three-run third inning.
