Mills 4, Sequoia 3
The fifth-place Lady Vikings (4-6 PAL Bay, 8-6 overall) kept their long-shot postseason hopes alive with a narrow win at Sequoia (2-8, 2-8). Mills’ singles players continue to prove the team’s cornerstone, sweeping all four matches to secure the victory.
Mills No. 1 single Kylie Huynh won 6-4, 7-6; No. 2 Maya Dolmage-Heath won 6-2, 6-1; No. 3 Kaylee Chang won 6-1, 6-1; and No. 4 Sophia Lee won 6-1, 6-2. Sequoia swept doubles play, paced by 6-3, 6-2 win by No. 1s Maya Perez and Xienna Ma.
With the win, the Vikings move to within two games of fourth-place Menlo-Atherton with four games to go in the regular season. Only the top four placers in the PAL Bay advance to the postseason.
Burlingame 5, Menlo-Atherton 2
The Panthers (8-2 PAL Bay, 12-4 overall) relied on their higher seeds to earn the win at Menlo-Atherton (6-4, 10-6). Burlingame No. 1 single Shea Mulready battled to a 7-6, 6-4 win over Marissa Hou; while No. 1 doubles Ella Vuong and Greta Martin cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win. M-A earned wins from No. 4 single Queenie Hsieh 6-4, 6-4; and No. 3 doubles Elena Tong and Anna Brown rallied back for a 4-6, 6-3, 10-5 win over Ali Endicott and Bailey Endicott.
Carlmont 7, San Mateo 0
First-place Carlmont (10-0 PAL Bay, 13-2 overall) took care of business, sweeping all seven matches at San Mateo (2-8, 2-8). No. 1 single Zoe Hendricks and No. 2 Megan Bence both ran the table 6-0, 6-0; and No. 1 doubles Avani Dixit and Chloe Rui won 6-3, 6-0.
Aragon 7, Half Moon Bay 0
The Lady Dons (8-2 PAL Bay, 12-3 overall) stayed tied for second place in the PAL Bay Division race with Burlingame by sweeping all seven matches at Half Moon Bay (0-10, 0-12). Aragon No. 4 single Maddy Fong won the best battle of the day 7-5, 6-0 over Nicole Hide. No. 1 single Ella Teng won 6-1, 6-1; and No. 1 doubles Allison Newman and Hayley Chong cruised 6-0, 6-0.
Woodside 7, Terra Nova 0
Unbeaten Woodside (10-0 PAL Ocean, 11-0 overall) maintained a one-game lead atop the PAL Ocean Division standings in dominant fashion, dropping just one set on the day at home to Terra Nova (0-10, 0-10). Woodside No. 1 single Malia Furukawa dropped the set in a 6-1, 6-0 win, while No. 2 Charly Moore, No. 3 Grace Manuel, No. 4 Bridgit Warren, No. 1 doubles Tatiana Berghold and Juliana Costa, No. 2s Lucille Palmer and Peyton Atkins, and No. 3s Angelica Truong and Analisa Palmer each won 6-0, 6-0.
Hillsdale 7, Westmoor 0
Second-place Hillsdale (9-1 PAL Ocean, 10-3 overall) stayed one game back of first place in the PAL Ocean standings with a sweep at Westmoor (2-8, 2-8). No. 1 doubles Liana Macomber and Eden Jacobson went to a first-set tiebreaker to outlast Kristin Dela Cruz and Jadyn Lavado 7-6(2), 6-3; while No. 1 single Jenna Wan won 6-1, 6-2.
The stage is now set for Hillsdale’s decisive showdown at first-place Woodside next Tuesday. Only the champion in the PAL’s lower Ocean Division qualifies for the postseason.

No. 1 single Lia Woo led El Camino (6-4 PAL Ocean) to a 5-2 win at Capuchino (5-5).
South City (3-7 PAL Ocean) clinched a 4-3 home win over Oceana (5-5) with No. 3 single Kalala Guerrero’s 7-5, 3-6, 11-9 super tiebreak win over Makayla Torres.

Evan ten Vaanholt led the way at the Bears (6-1 PAL Bay, 8-4 overall) claimed a half-game lead atop the PAL Bay Division standings. The senior attacker totaled five goals, three assists and four steals, while junior Spencer Harding added four goals, and senior Bryce Winters totaled one goal, four assists and four steals. Taner Heidenreich and Parker Lee scored three goals apiece for Hillsdale (2-5, 8-6).
After entering the day in a three-way tie for first place in the PAL Bay, M-A takes a half-game lead over Burlingame, who was out of action Thursday, and a one-game lead over third-place Sequoia, as the Ravens fell 10-9 to Woodside.
Woodside 10, Sequoia 9
The Wildcats (4-3 PAL Bay, 8-6 overall) earned a key win over Sequoia (5-2, 10-5), knocking the Ravens out of first place in the PAL Bay. Goalkeeper Brody Pfeffer recorded eight saves for Woodside, while Will Stevenson totaled three goals, one assist and four steals, and Riley Allegri added three goals.
Menlo 14, Santa Cruz 5
Hunter Coleman led the way with five goals and added two assists as Menlo School (14-2) rolled to a 14-5 home win over Santa Cruz (9-4). Calvin Barad added four goals and two blocked shots for the Knights, Alex Stoffel had a goal and three steals, and Lincoln Bott drew three penalties.

Carlmont (1-6 PAL Bay) fell 12-9 at home to Priory (1-6).

Menlo-Atherton 14, Aragon 10
With the game tied 4-all at the end of the first quarter, M-A (6-0 PAL Bay, 7-3 overall) scored six unanswered goals in the second to earn the home win over Aragon (3-3, 6-4). Aragon was paced by junior Emily Troy, who totaled three goals, one assist and three steals, while sophomore Siena Chen earned two assists and four steals.
Woodside 15, Sequoia 7
The second-place Wildcats (5-1 PAL Bay, 7-4 overall) stayed one game back of first-place M-A in the PAL Bay Division standings with a home win over Sequoia. Maddie Prosper totaled one goal and three steals for Woodside, while Lucia Rodriguez had one goal, one block and one steal.

Burlingame cruised to an 18-7 win over Notre Dame-Belmont at Carlmont.
Girls’ golf
Aragon 223, Menlo-Atherton 305
Senior Kate Chong led the way for the Lady Dons (7-1 PAL Bay), medaling with a 42 in the win at Poplar Creek. Aragon played evenly across with the lineup, with junior Autumn Ogawa shooting a 43, junior Ariel Ogawa 44, senior Vicky Ferrero 46 and freshman Abby Liu 48. Seniors Sam Richman and Kaylee Zhong each shot 60 to pace M-A (0-9).
With the win, Aragon stays even atop the PAL Bay standings, tied for first place with Mills.
El Camino 179, Capuchino 210
El Camino fourth-year varsity senior Saoirse Price ran away with medalist honors on the abbreviated seven-hole course at Green Hills, shooting a 28 to lead the Lady Colts to victory over Cap in PAL Ocean Division action. EC freshman Amaya Negrette carded with a 35, and senior Juliana Bazlamit a 36. Sophomore Karen Rogers paced Cap with a 36.
