Editor,

Congresswoman Barbara Lee stood up to President Bush and Congressman Tom Lantos and voted against the authorization of an illegal and immoral war. Cindy Sheehan who lost her son in this illegal and immoral war is now standing up to Bush and Lantos, two of the main architects of this insanity. And demanding the answers to these two questions: "Why did you kill my son?" and "What did my son die for?" Now it's Jackie Speier's time to stand up to Lantos and Bush and challenge Lantos in the Democratic primary. Eighty-five percent of the Democrats in the district are against the war. Speier is the only person with the stature, record and recognition to beat Lantos. We, the people of the 12th Congressional District, need her to do it. We want our voices heard. Please encourage state Sen. Jackie Speier, to have the courage of Congresswoman Barbara Lee and Cindy Sheehan, to attempt to save our country.
