Editor,

Caligula is among us again! For those who slept through their history classes, he was the Roman emperor who would decide what the laws and decrees would be at any moment and demand they be followed. The interesting aspect was that everyone considered him to be quite mad. But he was the absolute ruler so there you have it. His decree was the law. So, he could stop on the green light and go on the red.

Hey Mike - can you verify that this LTE was supposed to be published last year around this time and the DJ found it under another stack of your LTEs? It certainly is irrelevant today.

We know what happened to Caligula. hope you are not suggesting the same end for others.

It takes a strong president to clear out the corruption the other party. That's why having a two party system and separate but equal branches of government are so important. We need only look a California's corrupt and inefficient one party government to see this. When it comes to corruption Democrats take the prize. They impeached Trump in his first term as President based on a false dossier and paid for by Hillary Clinton.

We all need to lighten up quite bit and realize what the political realities are at this time. Fighting City Hall has never accomplished much but we need to stay alert and point out any digressions from the promises kept by the current administration.
