Editor,

I remember two of my former patients. One was trying to start a local business. There were 12 agencies he had to go through. He went to Texas and was met by the local mayor.

Thanks for your letter, Dr. Howard, describing decisions by former patients. I know there are plenty more that have the same story. Voters get the government they vote for and apparently, voters in California are okay with being ranked last in opportunity. Until there’s a change, expect California to remain last in opportunity while more entrepreneurs move eastward to pursue their opportunity, and fortunes.

Brind back Musk to DOGE California -- before it's too late. When I study the economic and political cycles, it's obvious we're headed for hard times. California being in this mess will only make those times harder for all.

Thank you Dr. Howard for your letter. California is becoming a failed EU socialist state and it better wake up before it does. No wonder about 40% of Gov Newsome's top five donors come from public sectors Unions and others feeding at the public trough at the expense of its citizens.
