Editor, "Let them eat cake." The famous words of Marie Antoinette when told the peasants couldn't afford to buy bread. It has become the symbol of being out of touch. When Arizona grew tired of drug smugglers and murderers crossing the border they passed SB1070. No one knows if that is the right answer or not. The message however is clear; Arizona is no longer waiting for the federal government to do its job. When our president heard about this he said it was misguided and that he would look into the legality. He does not seem to understand what is happening. The term "Let them eat cake" comes to mind.
