I just read the article about San Mateo allowing Siebel to fly a large flag.
Though I haven't seen the flag, nor have I seen the flag you mention in your article that started the process to pass an ordinance to restrict flag size, I find the fact that somebody complained to be outrageous.
At a time when all of us are trying desperately to figure out what happened to our sense of peace and freedom, how dare another fellow American try to restrict the size of the greatest symbol of freedom that we have on this planet.
And, by the way, it seems to me, that a flag is a flag and any so called flag that includes dollar bills outlined in stripes on a billboard is not a true flag and therefore can't come under a "flag ordinance.
