Husband, brother, uncle, teacher, cousin, and friend. Born in Chicago, Illinois, to Thomas and Eileen Vesey Gallagher. Raised as the middle child with sisters Helen, Maureen, Cece, and brother Jack. Married to Joy Suzuki and beloved of her family. Devoted to his nieces Claire, Norah, Grace, Fiona, Nuala, Clodagh, Tallulah, Breda, and Allyn and nephews Tommy and Kori. Taught at Green Hills School in Millbrae with valued colleagues, students, and families. Loved Muir Woods, public libraries, and Chicago architecture.
Visitation begins at 4pm followed by a Funeral Service at 7pm on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Sneider & Sullivan & O’Connell’s Funeral Home, 977 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s memory can be made to support Green Hills Elementary School, 401 Ludeman Ln., Millbrae, CA 94030 or Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy.
